I am having trouble with the latest B4a 7.0.1

I cannot get the IDE settings to save. I turn off the wretched "Auto Format when Pasting" Which drives me absolutely bonkers, it works for the current session.

But if I close and re-open B4A, it is checked again! How to fix??

I've just tried it here and the setting is saved. Make sure that there aren't multiple instances of the IDE running.

Open the IDE, change the setting and close it.
Now check the value of AutoFormat in the ini file: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Anywhere Software\Basic4android\b4xV5.ini

Note that there is no good reason to disable this feature. Format the complete document with Ctrl + A, Ctrl + F and then the changes will look correct.

No disrespect, But... I have my own way I want things to look and feel. I do what I WANT myself. not what others think I need things to look like. Thats the same crap that drove me nuts with Microsoft and their windows 8/10 UI debacle. It took me a long time to get over the B4X UI change a few versions back. But I digress...

Anyways, I will check the ini and see what happened.

And yes, I have multiple instances/projects open at once. I do all the time.

Tried with just 1 instance running, still didnt save. But I set it to False manually in the ini, and that seems to work. its holding.
