Android Question B4A on Apple Macbook Pro?

I wanted to ask if we can install B4X (especially B4A) IDE on an Apple Macbook Pro and use it to code Android (B4A) programs?
Is this possible or do we need an WINDOWS emulator?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
