I couldnt find a b4a ide questions area so i'm posting here.
if i enlarge the width of the ide window it stops at the screen width and does not allow me to widen any further. when i release the mouse button it snaps to the screen width. b4a v3.0 did not have any problems adjusting the ide width across 3 screens.
any others notice this behavior?

i can run v3.0 on this system and it does allow me to adjust the width however i like. Web browsers and file explorer also dont have issues adjusting the width.
Thanks so much for the quick response. B4a is better than ever! thanks Erel!

attached pic of b4a3.0 adjusted across 3 screens.
ok i tried to attach a pic, 827KB, but i get a 'Too Large' error.

this one worked. a pic of a pic. :)

there seems to be a maximum value for the width of the IDE window that it cannot exceed when spanned and it seems to be the width of the primary monitor
For whatever it's worth, I remember seeing this behaviour with other apps on Windows too.

I seem to recall on windows (10?) there is a hard limit of window size/area of 128M pixels (or bytes maybe)

I use a laptop with 2 external monitors, so I have 3 screens in a row and I can stretch all the IDEs and have 1 IDE on all screens whitout problem.
It could be a driver update on your computer?
I am using windows 11

I see the behaviour I described on both my Surface Studio desktop with NVIDIA GTX980M graphics and Windows 10, and on my Surface Laptop 4 with Intel Iris Xe graphics and Windows 11. On both Windows and graphics drivers are up to date. On both the IDE width is restricted to the width of the primary display.

Windows Forms apps, like Basic4ppc don't appear to suffer this limitation, nor does a WPF 3D map viewer that I wrote, nor do other apps I have tried. On my two systems it does seem to be B4X IDE specific.

I'm using B4A and all other B4X IDEs on a three monitor system. I can scale the window to any width, even span it across all three monitors.
