This relates to B4A, I guess?
Also noted that Quick Boot (saving state) does not work on the Android 24 emulator when used with B4A while it works with Android Studio (which of course points to a different SDK since we cannot use the same).
Not really.
The Intel system image is provided by Android SDK.
B4A AVD Manager creates AVDs with intel image. The emulator is mostly not usable without it (too slow).
Once an AVD is running it doesn't matter how it was created or started so you can continue to use the AVDs created with Android Studio or with the old Sdk Manager.
