I get this error when compiling with iadmob active

Create a new provision profile and make sure to use the correct one.

So I can't do tests with iadmob using the wildcard, so I can't test the ad on my device until I release a release version in the store.

No. There is no problem to debug with an explicit app id. The wildcard app id is only needed when you build B4i-Bridge.
