jServer should not be used in UI apps.

You can create a UI app that interacts with the server.

I would just like to add that a "little known" server has no GUI: Apache

I use Network & Asyncstreams (inhouse client/server solution with B4J as the UI-server and B4A plus B4J as the clients): https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/b4x-network-asyncstreams-b4xserializator.72149/ I've modified it to handle multiple clients. Benefit: No other middleware is needed.
