hi

is there already a list of all b4x libs? for each platform?

would be great to have such a list of all libs and also if that b4a lib is also compatible with b4j

I wrote that somewhere else allready, but i still think it would be usefull:

I would like to have a lib overview like for the wordpress plugins or like in an appstore.
I find it hard to find the lib i need, find out if it is uptodate, if there are problems, etc

that is true

although a list would be much better. the advantage could be that in that list we could tell if a specific lib would work also in b4j.

something like this:



i know it will require a lot work and i think it should be done by 1 or few b4x members here. i will try to make a simple b4j app with an online database and collect all b4x libraries and everyone here could modify the list.

what do you say erel? do you prefer to keep the existing way like search for the lib? if you have something against it then i wont do it.

1. Only B4A and B4J can share the same libraries. The libraries that can be shared by B4J are listed here: https://www.b4x.com/b4j/documentation.html
Most of the libraries cannot be shared as they are based on Android APIs or APIs not available in Android.
When I create a library that can be shared (like MQTT client) then I post it in both B4A forum and B4J forum.

2. This issue was discussed many times before including a failed attempt in the wiki: https://www.b4x.com/android/wiki/index.php/Libraries

3. There is already a list of libraries per product with a very good search engine and it is always 100% up to date.
