Yes, but i develope cross plattform (B4I and B4A), this is the reason for the [B4X] in my title.

Items in chat applications such as Whatsapp grow from the top to the bottom.

They start with a large empty item. The list is scrolled to the bottom whenever a new item is added.
You can resize the large empty item each time until it is no longer needed.
