I tried with but it doesn't work.

DateTemplate.lblYear.Font=Typeface.STYLE_BOLD

Untested. Did you try...

DateTemplate.lblYear.Font = xui.CreateDefaultBoldFont(15)        'if you do this before DateTemplate.lblYear.FontSize then the 15 doesn't matter
