Bug? B4XFloatTextField background color

Setting the background color of B4XFloatTextFied has no effect.

B4XFloatTextField is a custom view. Custom views always show several common properties. Not all properties are actually used.

Do you think it is not possibile to create a custom property for this? (so I don't waste time trying ?)

The background color is ignored by design as in almost all cases the default transparent background without border is the required background (the actual text field has its own background).
Developers can always put it inside another panel and change that panel background.
