Android Question ba.raiseEvent pass view a parameter

When designing java library, is it possible to pass a view as parameter for example

public void onClick(View v) {
ba.raiseEvent(ba, eventName + "_click",value1,v);
            }

I have tried but i get an error :

java.lang.Exception: Sub btnl_click signature does not match expected signature.

Please assist.
