I can use Labels to color Font and background of Text but it leaves big gaps around the color of the Cell.

Wish for code showing how to use JavaObject to put a Background Color on specific columns in a TableView.

Attached image shows the color behind columns 1 and 3 the way I would like it to be.

Not the best answer - but if you 'accidently' use SceneBuilder v2 - you can set the column colours.
(I have only found one control that doesn't work using it so far.)

I get the Headings in Color. But not the actual data under the Header.

Did you get color right through the column?
If so any chance of the CSS please.

I didn't get the colour on the columns where the data resides.
To get the actual cell to be a different colour, you need to create your own cell factory for the column. Not sure that's possible at present from B4J using current external libraries.
