Android Question Bad upload certificate

When uploading a new version of my APK to the Play console, it complains that I'm using the wrong upload certificate.
I have an export (DER) of the correct upload certificate (the same SHA1 signature), I installed it, but it seems I can't get the APK to be signed with it...

More information please. What has changed since the last time you uploaded the APK? Have you opted into Google signing key service?

The only change in the mean time is that I'm using a different laptop, so I thought about certificates.

I'm also not sure about the keystore file. Does it should be the same from version to version? Does it have any relation to the certificates?

The keystore is the key. This is the important object. I'm not sure what you mean with certificate.
