Great game.
Could I suggest the option to allow the user to un-select a ball. Perhaps simply taping on the selected ball again to deactivate it.

Thanks WAZUMBi - good idea. I have a feeling that I had a reason for not implementing that functionality originally, but I can't think what the reason was, so I'll take a look at it! Thanks for the feedback.
