Hi there

I posted this in the wrong thread earlier - my apologies.

For various reasons, I've not been able to program for a long time, and am just getting back into B4A. It's nice to be back to it at last.

I loaded some of my old code having installed v1.7, and I get this error when I try and compile.


Signing package file (debug key). Error

jarsigner: attempt to rename bin\temp.ap_ to bin\temp.ap_.orig failed


Can anyone give me some clues as to what's going on here?

Hmmm... may have solved it myself.

Code was in Dropbox. Copied Project folder to a real drive, and no problems since.

This error happens when Java signing program fails to delete the old file. Dropbox probably locked the file at that time.
