Beta testers for Basic4android 1.7

Basic4android v1.7 will be released in a few weeks.
The new version includes a newAbstract Designer: Screenshots of the Abstract Designer
It will also include other improvements such as HorizontalScrollView, AutoCompleteEditText and others.

A beta version will be released before the final version.
Licensed users are welcomed to help with testing the beta version. Please send me an email to: erel@basic4ppc.com if you are interested.

Seriously, why is it called "abstract" wouldn't it be a visual designer? Or interface designer?

There are two visual designers. The WYSIWYG designer and the new abstract designer. It is named abstract because it displays all views as colored rectangles not as they actually appear.

The abstract designer doesn't have a scroll bar, but it is resizable and has two zoom modes.

I've installed B4A 1.70 beta in a different folder, but when I launch it it give me an error aubout license...

If I launch 1.60 final this works without any problem. Do I need an updated license file??

Existing customers who are no longer eligible for free upgrades will receive a nice discount offer.

Note that the free upgrades period of the standard version is two months (since the first release).
