Bluetooth 3.0 incompatible with 2.0 ?

Hi,

I was told that my app will not print on a Tab with Bluetooth 3.0 on a printer with 2.0. The printing is no problem with bluetooth 2.0 devices.
Any ideas :sign0163:

Bluetooth 3.0 is backwards compatible with Bluetooth 2.0. It should work fine.

Hi,

now I got the device: Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi / Bluetooth 3.0

normaly I do connect outside my app with the printer and I am asked to give in the 0000 password. This works with all of my Tabs/Phones: connected

than I use this printer (by name) in my printing routine (I store the name in a ini file). All works fine with the serial lib (my printing routine was build out of the serial example), but with this Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi / Bluetooth 3.0
I am now asked for the password and I type 0000 in.
After a few seconds I see connection rejected .

Is this a problem with rights ?

The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi / Bluetooth 3.0 has Android 4.x ...

Try to unpair the printer from the Galaxy Tab 2 and pair it again.

Can you post the exact error message from the logs?

I did unpair them, and then I had no printer to choose ...

Where is the "LOG" file ?
