Bluetooth Low Energy Support in B4A

Hello,

B4A is a great platform for android development, but I find the lack of BLE support to be a very crippling factor.

I recently read about a new BASIC platform (techBASIC) aimed for iphones, ipads and ipods that supports BLE connectivity with external devices very easily.

Is there any plans to add BLE support for B4A anytime soon ? Most new android phones have Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE):sign0013:

Thank You
Carlos

Why do people keep comparing b4a with other sofwares?...
BLE is at the distance os a library... I have not the knowledge to create it but there are several users on the forum that do have... And I am sure that, and agreeing with ith you that BLE is ideed a nice feature to have, some of the Gurus will create such a library. ..

Hopefully in a few days. I actually started to test it with one development kit. However currently the results are unreliable

Might be my fault as this is a pretty complicated / powerful kit.

Thank you very much Erel! I really need this library.

I bought some chips from Texas Instruments (CC2540) and I would like to experiment with it.

Do you mean the new BLE APIs aren't stable in Android 4.3? There is lots of stuff available with BLE, Arduino shields and sensors etc.

Actually i'm more interested in the new Notifications stuff where you can listen for third party apps.
