Android Question Bluetooth Scanner and App Restart

Hi there!

I am using a bluetooth scanner that is connected to an android 6 tablet and android 4 tablet.

On both there is an annoying thing happening.

This scanner after some seconds with no use enter in sleep mode, and then disconnects from the tablet.

When this happens my app is restarted, because the scanner that shows up as keyboard disappear

Same thing happens when I click on the scanner, it reconnects and the application again restarts.

What is possible to be done to no happen this restart?

See my example below. When the scanner goes to sleep, the sub "AStream_Error" will be called. Then start a timer and try to reconnect to that MAC-address every x secs.
