Borders round labels

is there a simple way to have a border round a label or do i have to draw ot manually ?

You can put the label inside a panel (as its child) and make the panel whatever color you want the border to be. The label and panel must both have an Alpha above 0 (usually 255).

You can change, in the Designer, ColorDrawable to GradientDrawable, there you get ronded courners.
