Wish Bug/request database

Everyone is doing this nowadays... a bug tracking / request tracking database for their software... isn't that a much more efficient system than using a forum? It makes it a lot easier to see if your bug has been closed/not accepted or whatever... plus if a new version gets released, an automatic report can be made with references to the corrected bugs in the database.

I see lots of good requests passing by here on the forum, but we haven't got a clue on what will happen to them. Using a database would at least not give you the feeling that every request goes "down the drain" once the forum message gets pushed beyond the first page.
