Button on the left bottom of the device

Is there a tutorial to see how to make active the button at the bottom left of the device to program different parameters usually generated by this button?

On the bottom left of my galaxy S2 there is a place on which, if you press it you open a menu in some applications
I would create a menu like this

Are you referring to the standard menu?
You can add menu items with Activity.AddMenu
