Button pressed property

Ragarding the device resurces required, it's better to use several panels or several buttons to implement a custom UI ?

I dont think it makes a lot of difference, but I would prefer buttons if they dont need to hold any child views.

Is there a reason why the Pressed property is visible/editable in the Designer but not in code?

The Pressed property in the visual designer doesn't have any effect at runtime. Its purpose is to allow you to see how the button will look like when it is pressed.
