Android Question Button with bitmap

When I make a button with rounded corners and a bitmap as background and place this on a colored panel, I keep seeing this little corners of the button.
What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by removing the padding?

Your bitmap must have the rounded corners.
That means that the corners must be transparent in the bitmap.
CornerRadius is only valid for ColorDrawables.
