C# Custom control creation

Hi guys....
I've spent mos of my weekend trying to find a way to create a custom rounded corner Panel if possible wth a shdow effect, That IS Compact Framework COMPATIBLE....

I've Learned that even in the Full framework this is not an easy task, but the means are there to accomplish it...
I've aldo learned that basically we need to draw the control itself, and then set the controls region to the controls shape...But theese two are not present in the Compact Framework...

So How can I accomplish it, any Ideas?
Any example...?

Hi Cableguy.

Is it possible to create a image with transparent center and overlay it on the panel? I don't know if this is possible but thought it is an idea.

My special form DLL shows how to use an image to produce a shaped form, thus it only works in the Desktop as it requires properties not available in the compact framework..
