hi all i need to take a photo using b4a
i see this exemple

works fine but is very slow i dont know why, my normal camera of tablet is fast you turn left or right and it is fast, with this example in basic4android is very slow, work efects camera front or back but realy slow
how can i fix this

this work fast normal same of my tablet camera but with this image is very bad quality
what the best way to get a functional camera to take photos and fast?

CameraEx should be fast. Are you testing it in Release mode?

yes, i make a test with the panel 100% height = lag with panel 80% - = no lag
i dont know why this *-*

Have you tried in Release Mode? This was His suggestion

The problem is not in CameraEx. The preview is handled by the OS.

Hi Erel,
In my camera it is working fine, fast and hi quality picture.......... -but:
When I press the "Change Effects" button (btneffect) the ArithmaticException (devide by zero) pops up!
I think I posted this yesterday but it is missing-in-action. or posted elsewhere by mistake.
