Android Question Camera2 device compatibility

Is there a way of determining which android devices support Camera2?

As it happens, I unboxed a new phone yesterday (Moto G5) purchased specifically to get a recent Android version (API 24) to use this video capture but there seems to be an incompatibility

Does the forum have experience of (budget end of the spectrum) devices that are happy with Camera2?

All devices running Android 5+ should be supported. As we discussed on the Camera2 tutorial the issue was resolved.
