Can I use the phone functionality(SMSing, Voice Calling etc) via B4A coding ?

Iam a VB6 coder and am new to Android programming.

:sign0085: Please answer the following basic questions

1) Is it easier to programm the basic functionality of an android mobile like SMSing, voice calling, detecting caller ids, reading SMSs and even accessing GPRS/Net via B4A codings ?

2) If so, what all information i should know inorder to get these things done via B4A ?

Sending Sms and initiating calls is very easy with Basic4android.
PhoneCalls: Basic4android - Phone
PhoneSms: Basic4android - Phone

Accessing the internet is also not complicated.

The purpose of my app is that whenever an SMS arrives to my mob the mob app should automatically send the SMS contents, time and the number to an email ID specified.

And it should also an send EmailID with the caller id number if i missed a voice call too.

Is this possible with B4A codes ?

Help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

The Phone library allows you to react to incoming SMS messages and calls, and send emails and SMS messages.
