Android Question Can no longer connect to device using either Bridge or USB

I have been using B4A bridge to connect to my device and occasionally I have used the USB connection after having enabled the developer option. I have used either of these methods with no troubles. Now, for reasons unknown to me, both methods fail. Using the USB connection it report 'no device found' and using bridge it reports 'ping failed'. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Try restarting your device and computer, that happened and I resolved as I wrote.

Thanks for that suggestion but that didn't work either. I am stumped.
  • Firewall setting on your computer
  • Make sure Wi-Fi is switched On on your mobile device
  • If all fails, try connect via a USB cable and try USB debugging
