On the tutorial page I can't link to, it says

Which says
Choose "Available Packages" and choose "SDK Platform 2.2, API 8". It should appear under the "Android repository" node. The file structure of API 9 is different. For now you should use API 8.

2.2? Does that mean you can't make apps for 3.0?

You can make applications for Android 3.0 and 3.1 with Basic4android. During compilation SDK 2.2 is used. The application will run on all devices running Android 1.6 or above.

Ok, what i meant is will it be able to use the screen space of a tablet, or will it just be stretched?

Can you make apps for Android 3

Hi
If you are building an app just for your own use, then use the full resolution of your tablet or phone. Build your app using B4a bridge a lot easier than the emulator.
Download B4a bridge app and install on your tablet.
Connect your PC to your tablet
Click on your B4a bridge app.
Now run the B4android program on your PC (Make sure you have made a new folder etc first)
Go to tools/B4a bridge/connect
Then go to designer / tools /connect
Click on New variant, and enter your resolution, I delete the one that's there next as It sometimes causes confusion.

Good Luck
