please help.
I have just installed 7.8 but after spending hrs trying to star one of the emulators I was using before, I need some help.
when i try to run an existing one I get "panic: missing emulator engine program for 'ARM' cpu". when I create a new AVD and start it I get an error message complaining about HAXM not properly installed and usable. the thing is that the sdk manager tells me that the HAXM is installed...any idea?
thanks

yes I did. but I round in circle as it tell me that x86 emulaton needs hadware acceleration and HAXM..
my pre 7.8 update avd's were based on ARM but I tried everything I could to make them working as in that case the system complains that no arm emulator is installed..I am inclined to give up and stop using avd.
