I just finished the coding. why can't i type/input an number on the edit text???

You don't give enough information.
As we don't know what you have done and how, it's impossible to give a concrete advice.
Post your project as a zip file so we can have a look at and give you a concrete answer.
Generate the zip file from the IDE.

Use the

button in the bottom left corner to attach the file to your post.

We can't know why, unless the post title was: Guess my problem.

Could you upload your project (File->Export as zip), so we can see it? Maybe this way someone could help you with your problem

It is not running your app. You are seeing the design showing on your device.

You need to RUN your project (F5)

I did press f5/run. Do i need to download something?

No, you need to connect your phone with B4A-bridge to the IDE, or with an usb cable.
Or run an android emulator
