How to rename the captured image?

You are talking about which captured image exactly?
Are you capturing the image with camera or camera2 Class? If not; how are you capturing?
The images created by the default camera app can not be renamed as far as i know. You can use contentresolver to get the image and then store it under the name you want.

Not sure what exactly your goal is.
