Android Question Clear a different app from recents list and restart

Hi guys,

I need to restart a different app from my app. Is it possible (and if so how) to REMOVE an app from the recents list (like you would be swiping it away)?

... but can you "close all" or remove one in particular?

The other app which I talk to sometimes needs to be completely closed and re-opened to function properly.

I think it's better to correct wrong behaviour of your app. This kind of issues can bring only additional problems going on.

The app that's misbehaving is a third-party app. I would love to fix it! but alas.

I open it to talk via API to it.

Worked it out: (using OS library) OS.killBackgroundProcesses("com.other-application-name")
