Android Question [CLOSED] Do we still need to set the theme ?

Hello,
I could be wrong but I guess we don't need to set the theme anymore ? I have tested with some real devices upgraded to the latest Lollipop version and I was able to use the app without problem.
Please could someone confirm ?

The advantage I can see is the seamless integration in any system without having to use any other library.

You do not need to set the theme if you tested your app on an Android 5+ device (which means that you tested it with the material theme).

Note that the IDE warning will disappear if you set the targetSdkVersion to 20.
