Cluster Raspberry Pi and B4J vs INTEL I5.

What would bring the best result? An intel I5 server running some APIs made in B4j or 5 raspberry pi forming a small cluster running APIs made in B4J.

Pros?
Cons?

It's like comparing "who will run for longer time, 10 F1 cars or a 18 wheeler"?
An i5 will out run the Raspi cluster in processing power, but the cluster will have a better performance as each "node" behaves like a single core...
So, a 4core 1,7Ghz machine Vs a "5core" 1Ghz machine...

Is it really possible to create a synchronization app using for raspberry custer using only b4x? I have never set up servers.

I guess that the Intel I5 will will provide better performance. I'm sure that it will be much simpler to develop and maintain the backend when it runs on a single computer.

You need to provide more information. What is the server doing? Where is the bottleneck?
