Codex - generate code from simple English sentences

I've come across this:

and just thought I'd throw it out there to see what responses I get from the community.

It attempts to create code from simple English sentences - there's a demo video that gives some idea of what it is about.

It claims to be AI but the reality is (at least to my experience) there really isn't any AI of any significance out there - it's all Machine Learning.

This probably means that for it to write bits of B4A/i/J it would need a big learning set - do we have such a thing?

Well, it does hold some entertainment value, and I could see myself telling it what to do - as an alternative to searching Stack Overflow to find a snippet.

Other than that, I think the "Hello World" example shows pretty well how it would be to have a robot use an interface like this. Meaning, I would speak to the robot and it would do, and answer as instructed.

"Make a salad. More shrimp. And wine. No, in the glass!!!"

"Play some music. More cowbell!"

For fun....

Well did you know that computers understand "ancient" greek ? (that is something want to pass everywhere... that everything is Greek, or coming from Greece)
So speaking them English... not native!

- In my opinion and billions ofcourse... computers understand 0-1 - machine/assembly language (mov,put-etc)
- So writing a little code not bad... but it will be easier if having little help the right moment to jump/fix problems at seconds...

I think it is easier

Before talking about the AI/ML code generator, how are the enterprises think people could benefit from those Low Code-No Code tools? yes, these tools might help to create a simple app but moving forward the system still need to be crafted and customized to meet the specific requirements. As a developer, most of the time, communication with the business people or stakeholders is really a difficult job. If this AI/ML can do better then I am really interested to invest into it.
