You can put it anywhere you like and it will retain its position. If there were two screens connected and later one of them disconnected then it will appear in the center.

The Find / Replace dialog is a different dialog, one that B4X developers shouldn't use at all. The quick search is much better. It will probably be removed at some point.

The post was about the compilation dialog behavior.

The dialogs retain their position (if possible). I think that this is a good behavior.
