Hello,

i cannot compile any B4J, B4A apps that are on a linux samba share anymore, it worked in the past.
I think it has something to do with smb v1 that is not supported anymore by windows.
I had problems with vb net apps but i solved that changing a setting in my smb.conf file.
Why doens't B4J or B4A compile?

Note when I compile the same app local on my computer it does compile.

it was never a good idea to place your project on SMB, Dropbox,GoogleDrive,OneDrive.

I have been working with B4X products a long time now.
I see that you had this problem in 2016...My problem started after an update of windows 10 2 weeks ago...
I don't think that the solution is the 8dot3 problem...

IN debug mode:

Only when the project files are on a network mapped drive.
Local everything is ok !

Not sure if it's a similar problem but since the last update (1803) one of my NAS drives will not reconnect on pc start up.
Although it shows in explorer as mapped drive(s), it has big ? on the icons for the drives.
I have to restart the connection from the drives control panel.
Maybe your problem is the same?
