Android Question Control of stereo balance when using TTS and beeper

I'd like to put TTS on one stereo channel and the beeper on the other so that I can use the beeper to control external hardware without having to filter out the speech. Is this possible?

You do not have control on TTS output. You can manually create a beep sound with AudioStreamer and then control the balance.

Thanks, the TTS is convenient so I think I'll carry on with my hardware solution for the moment
