Hi all
At the age of 60, I created my own company for the first time two weeks ago. I have worked for my employer for 30 years. I know the strengths and weaknesses at work. So I developed an application for the job in my spare time at home.

I presented my application on a mobile device to my employer. My bosses were delighted with my work. They asked me to produce a service offer. At the beginning of 2023, they will pay me for the use of my application with an option of 3 additional years.

Today they asked me to create a website for employee recall. More cash to come

Just one regrets... Why I don't start the project 10 years ago.

I forgot, I can offer my application to other municipalities. The potential is great.

Your age doesn't matter when you're young at heart.

Well... I am having company for ~25 years... I am searching for a good job to shutdown/sell it (no kidding)...

In Greece.. When you own a Company... paying 60~70% Taxes... an extra amount /year having a company... extra Taxes if you pass an amount limit... 100% payment in advance the same taxes for next year... every 5 years closing tax books - to check if all is right...

So yes... if you are asking if I was 20 years old... now... I will never opening my shop/store-company or at least NOT in Greece

Not this time. Often I translate French to English and reverse that to see if I can read it correctly.

heheh, not any kind of aspersion (I had to look for this too, but on wordreference this time).
I simply love Australia and I hope that on a not too distant day my son will move there (causing me to happily follow him..)

BTW, did you notice that Melbourne-English could be shortened to ME, so our conversation could be rephrased like:

I leave in north region of Quebec, Canada. It's a french people about 99.9% here. I write and read English approximately correctly. But not having the chance to live in a bilingual environment, I know my English pronunciation will be terribly horrible. You don't want to hear me speak English
