iOS Question Custom Sound greater then 30 seconds

I have looked at other IOS Apps that play custom sounds greater then 30 seconds using what appears to be local notifications. Is there a work around with this 30 second limit and can I do that using B4i?

Local notifications sounds are limited by the OS to 30 seconds.

Maybe they are using silent push notifications and then play the sound from the app itself.
