Android Question Custom Transition problem

I have been trying a slide transition as per Erel's thread "Custom transitions between activities". This works fine on my Samsung 10.1 running Android 4.1.2 but does not work on Samsung S4 running 5.0.1. Any ideas why anybody?

The animations transitions do not work on all devices. It is probably related to the custom theme.

The transitions can also be disabled in the developers tools settings.

Are you calling SetAnimation from Activity_Pause?
