Android Question CustomView Greyed Out

When I trying to select a CustomView, it is greyed out. Any idea why?

you are not providing enough informations.

What exactly are you trying to implement? Which customview do you want to add? What is the way you did so far...

You need to select a library in the library tab before you can use the customview inside the lib.
Or if you are implementing a class. you need to add the class to your project first.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I was trying to generate a CustomListView and once I added the libary, I was able to select.
