Database (BD)

Could you help me with some simulations, tests, or even a small study plan? I am applying for a Database (BD) Supervisor position at a bank, and I have a knowledge test. However, I am not sure where to start or what I should study or focus on.

I appreciate any help or guidance in advance.

Why do you apply for a job where you have no knowledge about it?
Unless it is an "open book" test (google search allowed) or you can use AI then you may able to answer the test.
I can say Database is a wide topic to learn. How much time for you to prepare?

Also, that is not a forum discussion.

And it does not seem related to B4X. I would recommend trying your luck on some database forum instead.

You can ask this question in Chit Chat.
You can also ask ChatGPT or AI chatbot to give you some advices.
I believe AI chatbot will ask you learn step by step from zero which takes a few weeks of time at least.
Even if you can pass the test, can you take the job from day 1?
Knowing about Database is not only about theory. You will still need the practical and skill in real world.

It is good to read the job descriptions and qualification requirements when applying job.

Do you know what database the bank is using or does the job requires you to have years of hands-on experience on it?

If you only have experience on developing CRUD based application using MySQL but the bank uses different database such as MS SQL, DB2, Oracle, Sybase, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon, etc then you may use wrong SQL syntax or methods.

DBA job is different from software developer. You may need skills like ETL, SSIS, backup, maintenance, database sharding, performance optimization, security, etc.
