Android Question Date Time setter

I recognize that a non-rooted device can't have its date/time set programmatically.
However, when my device sees that its server time is different from its own (significantly), I would like to invoke the Settings>date and time...etc. so they can set the date and time and then return to my application.
is this possible?

Try a service comparing the time, if the difference is significant, use an intent and open the Date/Time settings.
