Dates comparison

How do i compare 2 dates? for example what would be the correct syntax for code such as

If (Date(Now))="29-11-2009" Then
..........
..........
End If

what about checking if a date is later than another for example

If Date(Now) > "11/29/2009" Then

end if

It can be done that way:

If DateParse(Date(Now)) > DateParse("11/29/2009")Then

End If

You need to make shure that the date format is correct.
If not, you need to change it with DateFormat.
