Android Question Default font vs true type font from assets?

I changed the app font from default to Segoe UI since it looks good on my computer, but it looks pretty ugly on several of the Android devices. Is there a list of suggested fonts that work universally well on Android devices or should I just stick with the default font?

Have you added the font file to your app?

Yes, it is in the file list and I load it from assets. Getting the font set is no problem, it just doesn't look good on my Nexus 7.
