Hopefully we can have settings/template(s) where we can setup default values for Activities and view's properties. For example if I always want my panels to have "0" corner radius or my Activity to always have "0" animation. Or standard heights for views. Maybe even an Activity "template" that always has a panel at the top for a Toolbar for example. I realize I could save a dummy layout file and use it as a template but that's not a "template solution".
