Android Question Designer keeps freezing up !

Please help, my designer keeps freezing up (Crashing) almost every time I change something, I have the Basic4Android-5.58, Is anybody else having this problems ???

I experience this when i have a big amount of items in my designer (maybe more than 50 ) . I have the latest framework . But that does not fix my problem.

MMMMMMMM............ so I can only make small apps ???,I only have 38 objects (2 panels, buttons, labels ,etc...), I don't like the latest upgrade, Will be going back to previous b4a.

Anybody else, Any ideas ???

Already experienced the same and fixed by splitting the whole layout in multiples and loading them at runtime.

What happens before it freezes? Which element are you interacting with?

There were no changes related to the designer in the last couple of updates.

Make sure to use .Net Framework 4.5.2+.

for me, my b4i freezed again just now after adding a imageview. , my code module is also freezed ..

Did you try it with the properties grid hidden?

This issue is most probably related to this .Net Framework bug: https://connect.microsoft.com/Visua...olling-the-treeview-under-specific-conditions

The IDE does make some checks to decide whether to enable virtualization or not. I will make virtualization configurable in the next version. It will probably fix this issue.
